My Two Goals For Every Headshot

Confidence & Approachability.

Personally, I like to identify two key attributes I want my professional headshots to convey for clients.

1. Confidence — Your headshot should radiate competence and self-assurance. This is someone who can get the job done.

2. Approachability — You want to appear warm and accessible. This is someone I can talk to and work with.

Call it my north star. When your potential client or hiring manager sees your profile picture, I want their first impression to be: a) this is someone I can talk to, and b) this is someone who can get the job done. With those two pillars guiding our shoot, I am confident we can leave the session with something that will empower you and leave you feeling ready to land that next job.

The Experience
What to Expect
It's easier than you think.
01
Before Your Session
Get a good night's sleep. Spend a few minutes in front of a mirror figuring out which angles you like. If you're getting a haircut, do it 3 to 5 days before the shoot so it looks natural. Moisturize, drink water, and don't overthink it.
02
Wardrobe
Solid colors work best — navy, charcoal, black, white, deep greens. Bring 2 to 3 options. Layers add dimension. Avoid busy patterns, visible logos, and anything that doesn't fit well. Gem tones like emerald, burgundy, and sapphire photograph exceptionally well on everyone.
04
Your Final Images
Clean, natural retouching — you’ll still look like yourself, just the best version. Delivered in high-res and web-optimized formats, ready for LinkedIn, your website, print, or wherever you need them.
What Sets Me Apart

Why My Headshots Look Different.

I’ve spent years as a commercial photographer working with CEOs, marketing teams, and companies who need images that perform. Not images that just look nice in a frame. Images that go on websites, billboards, LinkedIn, and marketing campaigns and actually win attention.

That experience shows up in every headshot I take. My images are sharp, clean, modern, and rich. They have a pop to them that comes from understanding what it takes to compete visually online.

FAQ
How long does a headshot session take?

There’s no set time limit. I only book two sessions a day so yours is never rushed. We stay until we get the shots you want. Most sessions run about an hour, but we’re not watching a clock.

Where is your studio?

My studio is in the Germantown neighborhood of Louisville, KY. It's a natural light space that's comfortable, relaxed, and built specifically for portrait and headshot work.

Do you travel for headshots?

Yes. I regularly shoot on-location throughout Louisville, Southern Indiana (Jeffersonville, New Albany, Clarksville), and Lexington, KY. I'll come to your office or any location that works for your team.

What should I wear to my headshot session?

Solid colors work best. Navy, charcoal, black, white, and deep greens are safe picks. Bring 2 to 3 options. Avoid busy patterns, visible logos, and anything that doesn't fit well. Full wardrobe guidance is provided after booking.

How many final images do I receive?

This depends on your session type. We'll discuss deliverables at booking so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you retouch headshots?

Yes. Every headshot includes professional retouching. I keep it clean and natural. You'll look like the best version of yourself, not a different person.

How quickly will I get my photos?

Turnaround time is discussed at booking and depends on the session scope. I respect deadlines and will always give you a clear timeline upfront.

How much do headshots cost?

Pricing varies based on session type (individual, team, on-location). Reach out through the contact form or call to get a quote for your specific needs.
