Corporate events, conferences, festivals, and galas. Professional event photography in Louisville, Southern Indiana, and Lexington.
Event photography is not just about documenting what happened. It's about marketing what happens next. One event, shot right, gives you months of marketing content.
I love shooting events. I love meeting new people, being part of the energy, capturing moments, working the flash, and seeing people smile. From candids to posed group shots, there are endless opportunities to get interesting images when you're covering a live event.
The people who didn't attend will see your photos and feel that unmistakable FOMO. Your website will look sharp, your social media will pop, and everyone in those photos will look like they had the time of their lives.

Cheers! Tailspin Ale Fest features over 50 breweries from across America with a dedicated section of brews from the bluegrass state of Kentucky. They do a great job with their marketing and needed high quality photos to really kick their online presence in high gear.

Storyfest Louisville is HOPE IN ACTION. Created by The Tommy Elliott Fund, a registered 501(c)(3), this entity was formed after a mass shooting in Louisville on April 10, 2023. This tragedy was a pivotal moment for the community, and something which was close to my heart. I was actually on Main St., a block away from the shooting, and it affected me deeply. When Storyfest reached out for photography coverage of their second storytelling event, I knew I had to be a part of it and donated my time to the cause.

I shoot events with one goal: give you images you can actually use. Not just a folder of 500 photos that sit on a hard drive. I'm thinking about your website, your social media, your next event's marketing materials, and your brand story while I'm shooting.
That means a mix of wide shots that show the scale and energy, tight candids that show real emotion, detail shots of the setup and production, and clean group shots when you need them.
I work in any lighting condition. Ballrooms, outdoor festivals, convention floors. I bring my own lighting when needed and I adapt fast.
As early as possible. For large events, conferences, and festivals, I recommend reaching out at least 4 to 6 weeks ahead. For smaller events, 2 weeks is usually fine, but the sooner you lock it in, the better.
That depends on the event. Some need 2 hours of coverage, others need a full day. We discuss the schedule beforehand so you get exactly the coverage you need.
Yes. I carry professional lighting gear and use it whenever the venue needs it. Convention floors, ballrooms, outdoor evening events — I'm equipped for all of it.
It depends on the length and scale of the event. A 2-hour corporate event might deliver 100 to 200 images. A full-day festival could be 500 or more. Every image is edited and ready to use.
Yes. You receive full usage rights for all delivered images. Use them on your website, social media, printed materials, and future event promotions.
My focus is photography. If you need video, I can recommend trusted videographers in Louisville who I've worked alongside at events.
